MaryJo Dawson

MaryJo Dawson traveled extensively and enjoyed a career of over 40 years in nursing before settling down in Colorado where she now spends more time writing. Like the main character in the Sally Nimitz mysteries, most of her nursing career was spent as an obstretrics nurse. \nWith a life-long love of the mystery authors of the mid-twentieth century, her goal was to write whodunits with likable characters and fairly realistic scenarios. \nMs. Dawson currently resides with her husband in a small town at the foothills of the Rocky Mts. She also enjoys walks in the scenic countryside, flowers, friends, and baking on cold, wet days. Faith and family are priorities in all endeavors, including what she writes.
